Vans New Era Fitted Caps

VANS has teamed up with New Era once again, this time to produce the Pennant Chase fitted caps. These set of caps featurs a V’s logo embroidered on the front panel of the cap, and features the Off The Wall logo embroidered on the back of the hat. It comes in three colorways which are Black/Grey, Cardinal/Gold, and Grey/Green. It is now available at www.vans.com.

I'm Back !

It's been a while since my last post, but I am back on my grind. As for my brand "Golden Child," everything seems to be on schedule for a Spring 2010 release. I am excited in seeing everything come together. I have 4 designs in various colors as well as a couple of surprises and giveaways. As soon as pieces start coming in, I will be posting a couple of previews.

Santastic! x Monchhichi "Minato"

Santa Inoue’s Santasistc! is the focus of an upcoming with Monchhichi. Largely unknown outside of Asia, the Monchhichi franchise has been wildly popular as collectibles, achieving great success thanks to a number of difference releases and styles over the years that often mimic real-life counterparts. Making his Fall 09' Debut

This is the second character of a series ( the characters are a loosely interpretation of my 2 boys ). I eventually want to do more than just t-shirt graphics with them but only time will tell.

Nike just released the “Fun House Pack” for the month of April ‘09. The carnival inspired pack comes with familiar artwork along the upper of each sneaker. The Dunk low also comes with glow in the dark images. Kids wiil definitely enjoy these.

Montana X Mark Bode Artist Can

Artist Mark Bode got together with Montana to collaborate on their spray paint cans. The artist created two limited edition cans for the brand and they will soon be available at Overkill.

To be honest I have never really been a fan of Jordans but for some reason these got my attention. Clean, simple executed well.

Having already dropped a slew of colorways, the Jordan camp shows no signs of stopping as 2009 will featured more renditions of the iconic Nike Air Jordan 1 than ever before. This latest mock up actually challenges the classic Nike Air Jordan VII Hare, borrowing its colorway and mix of materials for a full blown transfer onto a new platform. Along with the vibrant print colored tongue, the kicks feature an Air Bunny logo as well as “HARE” detailing on the tongue and heel. A release is scheduled for April 11th, 2009 with a price tag of $110 USD. In 1991, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan VII (7) - Hare and in 2008 they brought back the sought after style for the Air Jordan 7/16 Countdown Pack. With Easter right around the corner, another Hare themed Air Jordan will be releasing, but it is not the Air Jordan VII, instead it is the Air Jordan I (1) Retro. The sneakers are outfitted with a colorway consisting of white, light graphite and true red. Aside from the colorway both models share, this pair of Nike Air Jordan I also sports an Air Jordan VII design on the tongue with a silhouette of Bugs Bunny and Hare written under him.

Sesame Street- New Balance 574

In it's 3rd installment they bring out Grover, Ernie and Abby Caddaby. Personally my boys love them. Usually as soon as my 2yr old walks in the house first thing off are his shoes, but for some reason his " The Count " Sesame Street New Balances never do.

I remember reading this book in school eh about ( I wont say how many years ago for fear of feeling old), one would always imagine it playing out in there head. I hope Spike Jonze does the book justice. It is and will be a timeless book.

I am currently shopping my t-shirt line around. Sending out line sheets, e-mailing buyers. All the good stuff that comes along when it is solely 100% on oneself. The late hours, sketching, re-drawing on illustrator, finalizing the designs. It is indeed a long process but at the end of the day, I think it is all well worth it.
